Shami is a Director of Lending Strategies at Lev in their New York Office currently focused on CMBS. Prior to Lev, she was a Vice President at L&L Holding Company and was responsible for equity and debt financing, business plan development and general day-to-day execution of L&L projects, namely TSX Broadway, a $2.5 billion mixed-use asset in Times Square, and 425 Park Ave – a $1 billion commercial office tower on Park Avenue. Shami started her career at UBS Investment Bank advising institutional clients in the Real Estate, Private Funds, and Leveraged Finance groups.
Shami studied real estate and finance in the Huntsman Program in Business and International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with dual degrees from the Wharton School and the School of Arts & Sciences. She also co-hosts the “Tangent – Real Estate & Technology” podcast and is a guest lecturer at NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
